To believe you must have faith.
When God came to earth as Jesus Christ, born of a woman and the
Holy Spirit, He became a man—completely human and completely divine. Before
Christ came to earth, God could only be known in part. But with Jesus Christ in
the world, God became visible and tangible in Him because Christ is the flawless
expression of God in human form. To minimize Jesus’ humanity and divinity is the
ultimate error people make because Jesus is both God and man. The Gospel of
Matthew says God took on the boundaries and confines of humanity so he could
live and die for the salvation of all who would believe in him. Jesus’ name
means ‘The Lord Saves’.
It does not matter if we consider ourselves good simply because
we believe we are—we cannot save ourselves. We cannot eradicate our naturally
sinful nature, but Jesus can. Nevertheless, He did not come to help people save
themselves—He came to save us from the power and price of sin.
Jesus among us was truly God and was subject to time and place,
as well as other human limitations. Yet, He did not give up his power when he
became human—He put aside all his rights and his glory, and limited his power
and knowledge for the will of the Father. In his humanity Christ was sinless and
that makes him completely unique, and in Him we can fully observe God’s
character delivered in human terms.
Jesus Christ died for you and me and the world if only we
believe. He died on a cross to save us from our sins, and after three days, he
arose from the dead and went to be with the Father.

Have you lost, or never found, a sense of God’s nearness
and love—not because of any known sickness, but through physical trials or
mental exhaustion or from loneliness, sorrow or suffering. Have you been seeking
him outside of yourself not knowing that he is right there within you? Are you
perplexed by the mystery of unanswered prayer? Are you disillusioned and or
heartbroken?
It is through dark experiences of life that faith is tested and
grows. Such experiences develop for us a more restful confidence and joy in our
heavenly Father’s love and providential care. The Bible verse from John 3:16 in
the New Testament says, ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only
Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’
To take part in the life and death of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the
cross is to live in His kingdom. This is the lifeblood of the Good News, and it
is why the cross is the chief Christian Symbol—it is the crossroads of time and
infinity. It stands as an emblem for the destruction of that which we hold most
dear and at the same time is the doorway to a new and better life.
The Bible leaves no doubt that there is life after death
(eternal life—when we die our soul lives on either in Hell or in Heaven). Man is
created for eternity, and the earthly life is only a prelude of the reality to
come. We are free to live according to our own choices, but there will be a
future settling of accounts with God. Eternal Life and Rest in Heaven will only
come to those who believe in Jesus Christ and are born again. Jesus says, “In
John 3:3, “I tell you the truth no one can see the kingdom of God unless he
is born again—(3:5) unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh
gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Just being a good person will not get you into Heaven when you
die. How good is good-enough, do you know? On the Day of Judgment the Lord will
not judge you by your standards but by His. God sets the standard for your life
through His law, the Ten Commandments. Have you ever lied, ever taken anything
that did not belong to you, even a small thing? Jesus says that if you lust
after another person, it is the same as committing the act of adultery. Can you
honestly say you have not broken one of the Ten Commandments? God’s Word states
that thieves, liars, the sexually immoral and the covetous shall not inherit the
kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) but shall have their part in the Lake of
Fire that burns for eternity (Revelations 21:8)
Is the Spirit touching your heart ? If you feel the
Spirit of God right now, don’t turn Him away. You don’t know what tomorrow
holds. PRAY THIS PRAYER. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart the
prayer below.
Dear Jesus,
I am sorry for my sins. I know that you died on the cross for my sins and have
risen from the dead. I open my heart to receive you as my Savior and Lord.
Forgive me of my sins. Change me, and make me into the kind of person you want
me to be. Help me to live for you and to share your love with others, Amen.

KNOWING GOD
When you know the Lord, it is with your heart, it is not a feeling but a knowledge. In your heart you know him in a new way when you turn (repent) from your sins and confess them, and kneel before Him humbly to ask for forgiveness. It makes no difference who we are or what we've done-good, bad or evil-if we
renounce our sin (repent, turn away from sin) we can take refuge in God and HE will
forgive us With a change in your heart, you will have a yearning for God and a desire to know Him better. But if your heart is hardened, bitter, or leans toward wrongdoing, you will never come to know Him. If you are judgmental, nurse grievances or are involved in anything that is directly opposite to God's will then your heart will be separated from Him and it will become impossible to know Him. You learn to know Him when he is First in your life as it says in Mark 12:30, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and with all your strength.
